Filled with songs from the Curtis Mayfield songbook as well as new songs, soul & R&B from award-winning actor & R&B legend Reginald Torian’s (The Impressions) own recordings, ‘All Things Mayfield Revue’ salutes this musical genius in a dynamic new revue. Under the musical direction of Syd Brown and the award-winning cast members of ‘It’s All Right To Have a Good Time: The Story of Curtis Mayfield’ produced by the Black Ensemble Theater, The Revue includes music director & drummer, Robert Roddrick, David Strongfornoreason Simmons and Cecil Jones.
Award winning actor and R&B legend Torian (of the Impressions), musical directors Syd Brown and the Black Ensemble Theater’s Robert Reddrick, and cast members of Black Ensemble Theater’s “It’s All Right To Have A Good Time: The Story of Curtis Mayfield” salute Mayfield’s musical genius in a dynamic new revue.
